Lecture discussions on ART
New Delhi – February 27, 2017 – Dr. Sangeeta Jain MBBS, MD (Obst & Gynae), founder JoyIVF Clinic, Chaired discussions in the first sessions of FERTICON 2017 held on 25th and 26th February 2017. FERTICON is organized by Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
During the lecture, specifics on Role of Imaging in Evaluation of Endometrial Receptivity and Impact of Male Genital Tract Infection on ART will be shared. Endometrial receptivity is a temporary unique sequence of features that makes the endometrium receptive to the embryo implantation. Thus, disarrangement of endometrial receptivity is likely to represent an important cause of the suboptimal embryo implantation rates observed in invitro fertilization. Genital tract infections in males have been shown to be associated with rise in cytokines and oxidative stress, which impairs sperm function.
Dr. Sangeeta has had a brilliant career run with gold medals in academics and practice successfully from the past many years. After completing her MBBS and post-graduation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow, she trained with distinguished experts like Dr. R. Rajan and Dr. B. N.
